Clinic Partner Small Animal Veterinarian Dr. Owen began working at Animal Clinic in 1998 after graduating from Colorado State University in 1996. His favorite animals are cats, and he enjoys cycling, playing golf, and jamming away on his guitar when he isn't on the job. |
Dr. Ericka Spangler, DVM
Small Animal Associate Veterinarian Dr. Spangler was born and raised a proud Cornhusker in rural SE Nebraska. She graduated from the joint program between the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Iowa State University in May 2019 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She joined the Animal Clinic shortly thereafter in June 2019. Her hobbies include skiing, hiking, kayaking, traveling, and rewatching "The Office" an embarrassing number of times. |
Dr. Desiree Shasa, DVM, MS
Small Animal Associate Veterinarian Dr. Shasa was born and raised in New Jersey, where she began her journey to veterinary medicine. She made the trek cross country to pursue and complete a Master’s Degree at the University of Wyoming in 2012 followed by her D.V.M. at Colorado State University in 2018. Dr. Shasa joined the Animal Clinic in June 2021. She enjoys educating clients and preventative care. Outside of the profession, Dr. Shasa enjoys spending time with her husband Jon, daughter Amara, and their dog, Timber. In her free time she likes snowboarding, staying active, camping, and hiking- overall taking advantage of what Colorado has to offer! |
Dr. Curtis Cordell, DVM
Small Animal Associate Veterinarian Dr. Cordell graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He joined the team at the Animal Clinic in July of 2021, where his areas of interest are surgery and dentistry. During his free time he enjoys gardening and landscaping. |
